Tammi Barnett
Tammi Barnett possesses a diverse background in the social services industry through 15 years of experience in delivery of program services and administrative services in both non-profit and for-profit corporations.
Tammi attained a B.S. from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA, majoring in psychology. She went on to attain experience in crisis intervention serving adults with substance abuse issues and direct work with teens experiencing drug dependency issues and/or defiant behavior. She also served as a full time women's ministry leader for 8 years in a diverse congregation of approximately 800 women and continues to volunteer her time to the women's ministry at her church.
Tammi received most of her administrative experience serving as Executive Director for Advo-Kids CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), which seeks to advocate for children caught in the juvenile court system, due to neglect and/or abuse issues. Tammi was instrumental in establishing this program in the Griffin Judicial Circuit, GA, which continues to serve children in this capacity.
As office manager for Turning Point, Tammi seeks to provide a supportive environment for staff so that our clients will be served with the "clinical excellence" they deserve.
