Hope Morgan, M. A., LAPC
Hope Morgan joined the Turning Point staff in September, 2009. She currently serves as a Family Therapist. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and received her M.A. in Community Counseling in August, 2010 from Argosy University.
Prior to working with Turning Point, Hope worked and volunteered in a variety of settings with diverse populations, including inpatient and outpatient care. Her clinical interest include: substance abuse, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, marriage enhancement, depression and phase of life problems. Hope enjoys working with individuals, couple/families, groups, teaching and research. Her approach to working with clients is integrative and holistic in that she believes in treating the mind, body, and spirit. She uses Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Therapy, Mindfulness Training, and Experiential Techniques.
Hope is currently a member of the American Counseling Association, License Professional Counseling Association of Georgia, National Eating Disorder Association and Chi Sigma Iota Honors Society. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, nutrition, exercising, and reading.
Hope is currently working towards full licensure and is under the supervision of Patricia Mowry L.P.C.
